I asked my supervisor this morning if they have heard on our stance for the new medical patient cards. He told me that the last he had heard we aren’t changing our stance and if anyone got the card, they would be fired. SMH. I kid you not, he then took a dip of his Copenhagen. I’m sitting there like you are freaking hypocrit. Everyone knows that alcohol and t-b-cco are the number 1&2 abused d--gs in the world. Just because they are not considered a controlled substance, please explain to me the medical purposes they serve or why anyone uses either. They use them to calm their nerves, relieve stress, reduce anxiety, oh and everything that can--bis does without the harsh chemicals. You want to talk about a gateway d--g, my bet would be that anyone tried either before anything else.

you with "medical cards" are the type to be triggered by gender pronouns, clapping and the smell of cologne, skinny jeans and man buns dont fly in the oil field
I’m not sure about half, but I do think a large number of employees. With 57% of all Oklahoma voters and over 65% of OKC residents voting in favor of this, I would imagine many of our employees will be supporting this. I don’t believe this has anything to do with the current status of our company though.
Half of campus? No wonder chk is a sinking ship
I’m not sure about anyone else, but I get on here when I go to the bathroom. It helps me ignore the noises coming from in the next stall.
Did Trump add Layoff to his daily postings. I thought he just stuck to Twitter.
Typical. Glossed right right over the fact that you are posting on here instead of working. Devon gives us 30 minutes a day to stir up the Chesapeake folks. Then we just sit back and watch you implode.
“Worried about getting high”? There is your usual run of the mill accusation. Some people fail to see that this is about a legitimate medication that can be used to treat a wide variety of things. The problem here is a supervisor is communicating to their team that if they take it, they will get fired. We all know there is the older generation that grew up believing in the 70’s war on dr-ugs and tend to overlook their own addiction to t-b-cco and alcohol. This is something that we will just have to deal with and show everyone this is not about getting high, but rather about having a choice to choose which medicine works best for you and improves your quality of life. The self-righteous hypocrites and judgmental people will just have to remain hypocrites while they smoke their c-gare--es and dip their snuff, and sip on their alcohol.
shouldn’t you be workin? Glad to see the usual people are more worried about getting high then working. Just the action of posting here during business hours speaks volumes. Now, if you don’t mind, I have a date with puff the magic dragon!
Don’t forget CHK Fedpac donated $25,000 to 788 is not medical.
The ACLU has been taking up cases like this. If people get fired over mmj, there are plenty of lawyers ready to go to court over it.
The law is VERY clear about having a card. If CHK takes action for somebody having a card, easy lawsuit. If a patient fails a test... That's where it gets a little hazy due to conflict of state and federal laws. Dunno, will see what happens. With so many people voluntarily leaving the company this year, hopefully they'll not make a big fuss about it... Or fire too many people because staffing levels are near breaking points in key departments.
Supervisor is wrong and guidance will be coming out shortly.
During our last townhall when the statement was made that we wouldn’t be talking about medical can-nabis. I was sitting there thinking maybe we should talk about it and not pretend to ignore or think it will go away on its own.
Management does realize that there is a majority of campus that will be getting this card right? I hope they aren’t looking too deep in the sand to realize this is happening and happening quick. I wouldn’t worry about your supervisor. I’ve already been approved for my card and if they want their name plastered all over the news and newspapers in a negative fashion along with a lawsuit, they can take whatever action they want. They just better be prepared to loose almost half of campus if that is their stance. Which I am assuming is the case since we have not been notified otherwise.
