There is no package really anymore. Max is 12 weeks for something like 10+ years or 16 weeks executive. Check the hub somewhere. Otherwise, I think there’s a scale from 2 weeks to 7. That’s it! So, don’t be fooled you’ll have time to look for another job. You don’t. Look now.

It’s smart to leave while you still have a job. It’s harder to get interviews when your unemployed.
Why would you leave ahead of time and give up your severance? Wait for a package and then have plenty of time to look for something else.
IT in Saint John Canada let go so far, Lots of Sales Management and sales reps VSE's leaving ahead of time up here being smart. Several sales managers left and leaving last couple month only a few left, tons of sales reps getting out ASAP

Sorry to hear about your wife. Most ppl in sales being let go have over 20 years with company. Xerox wants to cut the tenure. There is no other explanation. Last guy was #1 performer at over 150 percent of plan and regularly made plan. It doesn’t matter how you perform. Good luck with everything. A lot of people are hiring and there are many companies with better cultures.
My wife just got laid off, she's in Northeast. 22 years with the company, she was kind of expecting it even though she did not get any hints from her manager (the manager likely did not know).
I am glad the anxiety is over for us.
I just heard of 1 in South. As you know, there are only so many left.
