Has anyone heard what the impact for work comp adjusters will be?

Adjusters will be hit and so will some of the Managers. They aren't writing new WC business. When they do it's very selective. You have to realistic. A lot of Brokers don't even want to do business with AIG because of how the attitude they have had over the last 3 years with the Models for U/W that they put into place.

I heard that they are looking at pendings and each Adjusters case load. However, they will be adding more tasks to the Work Comp Managers. They will be coordinating with SS in the future to do file reviews and some of the other functions that other teams do.

Rumors say w/c is being sold or if the insured’s have other lines of business they’ll be bundled. Should be a fun ride. Just hope they get the axing done sooner than later.

If we're not writing much Work Comp, what do you think it means?
