Just one more day and it will finally be over. I'm guessing that after this round, we'll be safe for at least some time.
I'm not naive to think we won't be seeing any more layoffs thgis year, but for the next month or two this should be it.

Of the 15 people in my group 7 or 8 of them are seeking a job somewhere else. 3 are heading to the west coast for job interviews this week. It's over in my group as a congealing unit. The expertise is gone and the best remaining are on their way out. Things won't go smoothly now unfortunately. Will here be any reason to stay when you feel this way? We have to wait and see.
how can management boost the morale of the left behind people? It is widely known that there will be another wave coming up near Thanksgiving, and nobody could nor would give assurance that their job are safe. The best and brightest of the left behind will start the exodus and GF will be left with the bottom pool. It will just go spiralling down from here. Pitty.
