Heard that there are two new towers in the Bangalore campus. One is exclusively for CCBU with 2000+ strength and another is for San Jose and RTP products relocation. Besides this, there are another three buildings getting for 10 years lease in a nearby Tech park. This entire exercise will have 4000 employees seats and save $1 Billion annually.

Fire the lot of them and keep a few good first level managers
Cisco BLR Leadership Gimmick is in this post. Brief about the BLR Center: No hikes, More overtime without reimbursement, Threats, Verbal Abuses, No timezone management, No appraisals and now they want to retain the employees by showing the prospects of BLR center ? Please do not do so. Attrition is at the peak. Thankless Leadership.
This article seems to be posted by some leadership team member to stop attrition at BLR. Every one knows how bad BLR management is and no one who leaves joins Cisco BLR again. CCBU is known leader in this in Bangalore.
This is a known fact CCBU with other Collaboration products are sharing the new building. Security group is hiring massively to replace US Development centers.
This is totally fake. CCBU has less than 500 total employees.
CCBU and other allied product (HCS , Broadsoft) are maintenance products getting revenue from old license and upgrade mainly for security. India is known for software maintenance and hence the new building. This may survive till other BU says CCBU helps in selling flagship products like routers . CCBU is very expensive to maintain due to its mammoth size of leadership.

I fail to understand the reasoning and logic where the lack of interest in US at working at Cisco means a quality increase in Products in india, can you name 1 product that was sucessfull and was produced and developed in india?
Quality will increase because in US quality developers aren’t interested in working at Cisco.

Out of curiosity why will the Product Quality will increase?
Is this under the same plan where all the Dev centers will be moved to Bangalore, with only sales in different Geographies ? Is this the same under which DG's team has moved many Dev centers ?
They are moving Broadsoft contact center along with CCBU and HCS in the same building.
There are not 2000 CCBU people total, so this is clearly a lie.
Plus the product quality will increase.
