Legitimate estimates are 500 - 700, but remember we have another layoff coming near Christmas so the line may be revised down after tonight. This may be a good time to go under but sensationalism may drive the numbers back up by the end of today. Winning bets will be disseminated once gf announces official numbers to local media.

Where is information coming from that there are layoffs at Christmas time? Rumors of October, November, December, or none at all are flying and it seems everyone is guessing based off of..what?
60 days pay in lieu of a WARN notice. I think if they give you 60 days they do not have to file it. Otherwise, we would have seen it already. I am not an expert, just guessing here.
a warn notice is to notify the state not the employee, probably part of the reason you got let go
The WARN notice was given at separation; we're technically being kept on the payroll through the end of November to satisfy the WARN requirements but we own our own time.
Are they going to file WARN notices?
