Every major restructuring is always at the end of fiscal quarters. My bet is October but its guaranteed to happen by January from what these ho leaks are stating.

Purges always occur at or near the end of a pay period. So it's this week, guys! The SMs were at meetings last week in Bentonville. Coincidence? In my opinion, there isn't time now for them to get everything done, let alone with fewer ASMs! I guess we'll know by this weekend.

I was a manager at Sam's Club and was let go in their unfair layoffs. With company 9 years no coachings. I was devastated but it is what it is and you deal with it and move forward. Your given 60 days pay and severance. Also after 60 days you can get unemployment. I found another job not the money I was making but way less stress and I'm happy. You will find something else . And trust me you will be so much more happier.

Years from now in business schools across the country the demise of this company will be studied, the name “The Purge”.

An economic experiment on how to train-wreck the largest retailer in the country. Rather than follow leaders (Costco) or lead, the opposite is being done: sabotage the whole thing at everyone expense and then make off like a bandit with the loot.

“Never let a crisis go to waste...”

We are witnessing the demise of a retail giant. A recession is also looming as the economy prepares for a correction. Sitting on your hands waiting rather than acting will be one of the biggest questions students will ask the teacher in the future: “Why didn’t the workers prepare for life outside the inevitable while they had all the signs and warnings?”

Instead of the panic and living off bologna sandwichs, may want to consider applying elsewhere. Everyone is hiring right now, it's not hard to find a new job with a better paying more stable company (basically any company).

I'm making massive lifestyle changes as well. I'm selling my house to move into a smaller place. In already looking for another job because I don't want to compete against the 10k laid off managers when the other shoe drops

AP ASM here, hopefully this information is credible. I went home last night and looked all my monthly expenses. Paying off cell phones, credit cards, everything while saving as much as possible for it. I love AP, but this transition away is disheartening.

I'm preparing for the purge. Bolonga and cheese sandwiches until the cuts begin to happen. Saving every penny I can. If I'm lucky enough to survive I'll begin to live normally again.
