There are plans to move all R&D across BUs to Bangalore by 2020. This may impact duplicate jobs in other geographies. Some BU like Firepower has started implementing the plan.

HUGE is always a relative term. If 5 people in your 10 people dept is let go, then yes that is HUGE. But in the end, only 5 people got let go. AND if it doesn't effect Lawrenceville, then it never happened.

I'm in CCBU in Bangalore and there are 3 positions created for JG 12 and 8 for JG 11. So Bangalore is growing.
