I can not wait for the next layoff! Hopefully it is right after the holidays like last year.

Layoffs are always coming at GE. It is not a matter of if but when as GE is famous for its prolific layoff culture. GE is on a mission to rid itself of parasitic Unions, but, non-union plants like Greenville will be having more layoffs as well. The power market for gas turbines has fizzled out even more with Mitsubishi taking over world market share. Gas turbines GE once had been guaranteed to sell are going to competitors because GE Gas turbine Qualify issues are impacting sales (customers are going with competitors like never before). It’s the perfect storm sinking the GE Titanic.

Its sad that some people are making fun of those who got laid off and not just sympathize. Guess they have not matured yet despite their age. Bunch of BULLIES.
I can't wait for you to be laid off either. I need more overtime. I'm only going to make 100k this year!
@nvi You are misinformed. By contract, they can only do two layoffs per year, so having 100 now and another before January 1st is a contract violation. If you weren't part of the aSleeper slate you would know that.
