I'm trying to figure out which states have lost most stores so far and which still have the highest number, just to see if there is a pattern there.
Any chance there is a place where all the closing stores are listed so I can compare? I'm a bit tired of going through every single announcement separately.

The two states with most stores are the State of Confusion and the State of Disaster.
Pennsylvania still has a surprisingly large concentration of Kmarts -- especially for its size.
The whole state of Texas has just two Kmarts.
