New announcement in 273

Sleeper Slate will Announce their Slate soon! We need change the Slate is holding back and letting the current slate mess up enough to get the membership to finally say enough is enough. We do not need the culture change upper management does! We made GE billions out of 273! Don’t fall for the company games and the lack of union backing.

F--- GE and f--- the D-Rates!! I’ve given just as much of myself in my years as any D-Rate has in the same amount of years. They want to treat me like I’m some sort of parasite just because I came onboard shortly after the two tier system was created. I’m no longer giving equal work for unequal pay. GE hasn’t come around to even the playing field and they aren’t going to. GE has no future intended for me so I’m sure as hell not going to intend to have a future with them. Lay me off or shut the place down. I don’t give a damn. I’m already prepared either way. I know from talking to most of you fools that many of you believe that GE thinks that only you are the special one that keeps the whole place together. We’re all pawns and nothing more!!

Look at you D and T rates, infighting and pitting yourselves against one another! The company is getting exactly what they wanted. You'll eat each other alive in this fictional war against each other, and then when they close the doors, the company can say that the hourly were not willing to change, not willing to rise and work together. Good job you bafoons.

If you were really smart, and you really wanted to keep your jobs, you would van together to make 273 so profitable that the boardroom in Boston would never dream of closing. Then, you'd be flooded with orders, and all the overtime you could ever wish for.

But no. You'll be petty. You'll b--ch. You'll say you hate it, even though we all know full well you earn a handsome salary that provides plenty for your family.

Give me 100% of a d rate’s pay and I’ll do 100% of a d rate’s job. Give me 2/3 of the pay....... Well you’re a smart little d rate, I’m sure you can figure it out!!

I would take a $5 an hour raise and D-Rates take $5 an hour concession and do away with pensions. I don't get a pension anyway. That would make the company alot more competitive. Maybe that can get proposed at next contract. That way everyone D & T will have a future in Schenectady.

There is no such thing as a sleeper slate and even if there was no d rate is going to vote for a group of t rates saying they are going to do away with their pensions.
