Last year a CA in Indianapolis got a CS position in Dallas and they were not given any relocation help, had to pack a Uhaul and pay for it themselves...maybe because their office wasn't closing?

That's what we were told in our meeting on Wednesday, when we were told our office would closing in August 2019, that if a CA gets a CS job they will get relo.

So maybe this person that didn't get relo should check into WHY they didn't get relo.

Well see it is a straight up lay-off, just prettied up so no one notices.

if you are a CA they will not give you relocation help, if you are a CS or above then of course you are going to get relocation help, BUT BUT, if you are a CA and you apply for a CS position and you get the position then you will receive relocation help.

Also it's about to get ugly for the next year, managers will be culling the herd even more now. Less herd less severance pay outs. Gonna be a fun ride.

My understanding is that these office closings are being done at least in the classic 15 year fashion where it's not a straight up layoff. People can have jobs if they want to move of their own accord. Unlike what's been happening to several thousand other people who are SOL based on their job title.

Jacksonville was not previously announced last May 2017– that is a new addition just like Tacoma was recently . It showed up on my Google newsfeed – 600 more workers will be displaced.

It's so top secret that they decided to hide it right on the ABS home page.

Chicago West, Indianapolis, Kalamazoo, Jacksonville, Frederick. All previously announced, just accelerated closing dates...which they indicated would be when the dates were originally given.

it appears previously announced closing dates are occurring before plan ie 08/2019 instead of 2021 due to quicker than planned transitions. ..
