Vacation policy?

Does the xerox vacation policy state anything about accrued and unused vacation?

Read HR Policy 404.5. Like others have said, you would have to pay back any unearned vacation.

That's been policy for years. If you had 6 weeks vacation (the max right now, at least where I am) and took all 6 weeks on Jan 1st, then left Feb 15th, it seems reasonable that Xerox wouldn't want to pay for 100% of your year's vacation at that point.

"Pay back a week...." My A * *! Why would they nitpick over such B.S.?

Unless it's quietly changed, you accrue vacation quarterly. If you have 4 weeks, you earn week 1 on Jan 1st, week 2 on April 1st, week 3 on July 1st, and week 4 on October 1st.

If you got let go right now and had 4 weeks, you'd be entitled to 3 weeks. If you used it all, then nothing happens. If you only used 1 week, you should be entitled for pay of 2 weeks. If you used 4 weeks, you'd have to pay back a week.

At least that's my understanding.
