Typical response to people venting their opinions and experiences. SHUT IT DOWN. SHOUT THEM DOWN. If someone does not agree with you SHUT IT DOWN. That is fascism plain and simple.

I agree with the last comment. Everyone in my department that’s left has been talented for the most part. The “dead weight” thats stayed is mostly people in their 50s who are mailing it because theyre pot-committed to make it to their retirement. Any younger hires with a half a brain bolt to a better company after gaining the requisite 1-5 years experience at the farm. This trend is not sustainable.

It must be nice to peruse a handful of comments by people who are struggling with job loss and react to their angst by patting yourself on the back for being one of the good guys.
And in case you weren't paying attention, job performance was NOT one of the criteria used to make culling decisions. Good and bad employees lost jobs in equal numbers, due to certain advertised criteria (like geographic location or job category) and other non-advertised criteria (like age and salary).
But this idea that State Farm got rid of the dead weight is a ridiculous myth. The dead weight is still there. There's a good chance you're one of them, considering the disdain you have for the people let go.
I love this site. I hope it's never shut down because if I ever doubt the direction SF is headed, this site reminds me we're finally showing people the door who should have been out years ago. So y'all keep b-tching and moaning. The rest of us can finally get moving in the right direction. Toodle Doo!

Just in case you guys aren't aware, there is only one person posting all these "sore losers and sour grapes" comments. He's been essentially posting the same dreck for months, almost verbatim. He is most likely NOT an SF employee at all. I'd bet he owns this website and is trying to drive traffic. You'll see the same behavior on the other forums.
Why are you so bothered about what is posted on this site? Does it hit a little to close to home? It must.
And if LOVE your job so much, why does this site bother you so much? Maybe start a site for butt kissers....where you can kiss SF butt. You won't want to be anonymous though cause you will want credit for your butt kissing.
