Has anyone heard in the last 2 years that Enrollment Managers were trying to find reasons to give Discussion Memos and Written Warnings to get rid of Enrollment Advisors??? Share what you know. 5

To the last post....what were you fired for? When? Do you think they did it so they don't have to pay severance? I know it s---s. I was very loyal too.
I worked for UOPx for ten years as an EC, ER, EA, whatever the f--- they call them now, for 10 years. Never received a single verbal or written warning, discussion memo, or unsatisfactory performance review and I was still sh-- canned (not laid off).
You have no rights.
print any emails that you fill will help you. Get a copy of your write-up and document all conversations you have with supervisors. Take notes at all meetings. How does enrollment advisor get a write up? Missing enrollment #’s? 100% illegal.
With written warning most likely you wont get laid off you will be terminated. They will downsize as the year goes so as the 36 campuses/learning centers are closed more people will lose jobs. And they dont want to pay severance if they can avoid it. Oh and sidenote if they can spin your Written warning as something "unethical" they will also deny you unemployment. Get another job NOW.
There are no “rights” other than non-discrimination. You’re likely in the right to work state. Employers can terminate without cause. Like others wrote work harder or maybe look for another job. Better to be proactive and avoid playing the victim card.
Are Enrollment Managers being told to give Written Warnings for any reason or Discussion Memos to get rid of Enrollment Advisers by them quiting or being fired ???? Share what you know. Thanks
Document everything. Even the harassment and unethical behavior they push for you to enroll. Good luck.
You have the right to work harder. You have the right to resign.
