How many positions went from being great and enjoyable to completely opposite thanks to layoffs and eliminations of other positions? How many people went from loving their jobs and working normal hours to being overworked, underpaid and continuously stressed because they are doing the work of several people?
How far do you think Walmart is willing to push with this? Until the whole system collapses?
Anyone have any info about walmart closing down stores? We lost a few in our region. The rumor was these shut down because Walmart doesnt own the land, just was leasing it. Seems like the closures came out of no where & employees only had a few weeks to find new positions or take severance if they wereligible. e.
Our market hasn't used a code for cashiers in about 4 years now
Went OTC went division one There is no job code for pharmacy cashiers, technicians have to be cashiers/ Tech.
Do pharmacies still have cashiers? Ours was told to train as a tech or find a new position outside of the pharmacy a good year ago
One tech one pharmacist each shift no cashiers.
Pharmacy is having some interesting changes and we are losing tech hours and pharmacist hours going into our busy season. Not sure what it will look like this time next year in there.
Me? I guess I lucked out----in that I despised literally every minute of all the years I was chained to that miserable place, so there was none of the bitterness I've watched so many of my former co workers going through. in my case it was really just a matter of cleaning up, turning my life around and re tracing my steps back to better career options (they are there, whether or not you believe my words or your own abilities).
That’s what happened in my job at one of the corp offices and why I quit.
I could be wrong and someone may argue it seems they don’t shift the work it just doesn’t get done. They quit programs like price match and $4 scripts and all the other programs that made them once successful. They now make our retired folks struggle to check themselves out all while we have teenage kids not greeting us at the doors a job which was created for retired folks. I choose not to support these people anymore you can get better prices almost anywhere and be treated like your money is worth something to them.
