Judging by the lack of new rumors on layoffs I'd say we can relax properly, at least for now.
Unless I'm missing something?

Layoff experienced personnel & create shared services from inexperienced personnel with lack of accountability. All this to save costs, with company being run by accountants. Clients we deal with won't be coming back to SLB, they have had enough of the problems created.
Now the new way of working is being rolled out, things are getting worse. Existing projects are being ignored with focus on new way of working. Unfortunately some employees are left to try and deliver projects within all this mess!
Hows the share price doing Paul? Not good eh! Time for more head count reduction? Seems to have been the answer to all the problems you have created previously. Clock is ticking Mr Kibsgaard.
Attrition is so high that there isn’t anyone left to lay off.
You are missing something as you seem to be unaware of the falling share price. It is grim.
If you can write 10 rir per month you should be ok
What is the AP program?
The minute you think or feel you are safe is exactly the moment you are mosts likely to be laid off
Yes very safe
You are only a number in SLB to be fired at any time. The only protection you have is the AP program but only the very few get on it
What you are missing is that slb does not care about the years you put in or the hard work you do bottom line it is just a matter of time and most of you will be laid off ...it's called oil business u p and down ..
Not safe at all. SLB made huge mistake focusing on international market and discarding US shale market as commodity business underneath the likes of SLB. Now this mistaken strategy means we are always at risk of layoff because all the business growth is in USA. Unless of course you get invite for AP program but very difficult to get in these days
People that have taken the brutal AP test will be spared.
