Either were getting seasonal stuff that was originally ordered for nearby closing stores or they’re bulking up for the liquidators

@UIq925c-knk Been in the company for 5 years going to 6. We would get lots of freight at times when I was their, but we got hours and had a good solid team. In our department we use to process the truck sometimes by Saturday (if latest Monday if it was big) now with no team or hours the whole inventory is just piling up.
We got a pallet of sidewalk salt and around 15 snow shovels in. Too bad we are a south florida store.
Last week we received six pallets of water softener salt pellets. We had four in our store already and we usually go through half a pallet in about a year. Out of the four pallets, there's still over half of the bags left on one pallet, the other three are still shrinkwrapped and sitting for over two years. What's the sense in that??? We don't have the room for those and they are slow selling merchandise for our location!

How long have you been with sears? I’ve been there 12 years and never saw it this bad with not giving people hours when there is plenty of work to get done
Go away troll. Kmart is dead. It's barely represented anymore in most markets and it's not ever coming back.

Our DM said they are cleaning out the warehouses to make one last big push in the stores for the holiday season. After the first of the year look out.
@UIq925c Same thing at our store we have been bombarded with so much inventory despite we have no hours to process the freight. I just really hope we close I am so done with the company just want to be on that unemployment to milk!
