2sfc, I suggest you get reading glasses. The OP did in fact ask 2 questions. One of which was what is average salary...

So 1jgj is correct regarding base salaries and CIP. The only thing missing is the stock options portion, but it’s the most useful response so far.

Nice try, but the question is on stock options not salary and bonus (which are completely independent of company stock behavior). As stated below, the share scheme is available online. It shows the profit sharing scheme each year for PSG26-30 or so. As publicly stated many times, stock as a fraction of total remuneration increases with PSG. The higher you go the harder you should be working to reward the shareholders. The CEO makes a miserable salary and peanut bonus but huge stock awards. Have a look at the Edgar filings online for executive purchases and sales if you want to see who has huge positions. You may be surprised at some of the low lifes who are selling millions of shares.

Not top secret guys... on the new to CVX orientation you get to see them and adjust them if you know how. Also if you know where to look you can find. Here’s approximately what they are based on 100% CO, rounded to nearest 1k. Typical employee will be around 95% CO on average.

30 = 424K + 60%CIP

29 = 365K + 50%

28 = 315k + 40%

27 = 275k + 35%

26 = 238k + 30%

25 = 209k + 25%

24 = 181k + 20%

23 = 157k + 16%

22 = 136k + 14%

21 = 118k + 12%

20 = 103k +11%

19 = 90k + 10

18 = 79k + 9

17 = 69k + 8

@1cir, IMO, the poster did provide insight. You on the other hand, you just perpetuate your BS.

Here's what I meant to say, I knew the moment I hit submit this was going to happen ;)

"A 28 only earns around 200k? I would expect a total comp for a 28 to be around $500k?"

Am I off?

Also why even respond if you're unwilling to provide insight?

@1edz, under your way of estimating, why then didn’t the previous poster not say “over 400k”? If he would have said “over $1” I’m sure that would have satisfied you all the same. I call BS on your part. id--ts, pretending to be people they are not.

There are a few HR People that will give it to you, just don't sell them down the river when they do.

Yes. It’s cleverly hidden and cleverly available only to those with a PSG 26 or higher pay grade. Anyone below 26 will have to beg and scheme to get a copy of that information.

Why do you have to search intelligently? Is it plainly available or cleverly hidden somewhere? Hint: I’ve never seen it anywhere. I call BS.
