Anyone who got affected were able to leave early with package ? I am sitting Ideal since last 2 months and have my exit date in Dec but My manager is not willing to leave me. He said everyone in my team should have same exit date.

I don’t think anyone in the current layoffs should consider themselves “rejects”. Rather, QC bean counters are indescrimately deciding on cuts, which will ultimately be stagnating the entire company and accelerating its demise. Grab any voluntary retirements/layoffs while you can before they are no longer offered. Still lots of opportunities in the Bay Area out there currently, but this could change in 6-12 months.
Op, do you mean your mgr is still giving you tons of work, or simply unwilling to let you jump out early?
