The goal was to have layoffs complete yesterday for organizations reporting to the COO. Next round on 8/30/18 for non-COO organizations.

What is IJAP ?
Yesterday employees were fired from Xerox Gurgaon, apart from the whole process of firing which was not just humiliating and insulting the whole decision was very biased.
Management/ELT saved their favorites by opening IJAP for them just a day before the layoff.
But the best part was that no one from the senior management/ELT got fired who are not just hugely paid but also have no work. Never came across a company with such poor & mean management.

Yeah, I have heard of analysts and techs being among the layoffs last week.
Which is just . . .crazy to me. Our customer base is already wilting away due to poor response times and brain drain.

The 8/30 date is for North America. India IRIF will be at a later date.
COO orgs. = Information Mgmt., Finance, Supply Chain, Billing, Real Estate
There are rumours that there would be layoffs in India as well. Employees are not able to concentrate and work. All employees are tense, managers are not disclosing anything, HR saying they don't have any information. Just waiting for the dooms day, 8/30 & 8/31.
What would be considered a non-COO organization?
Most layoffs will be outside Webster in the next one.
I would think that 8/30 would be too soon, otherwise they have to file a NYS WARN notice.
