Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Zerox newest copiers were junk

I was a Xerox technician who was laid off from Xerox about a year ago. The company replaced a long standing, reliable copier series (5100, 5500, 5600, 5800 series) that had the paper flow from the left side of the copier, through the machine, and out through the right side and into the output tray to a new series (5900 series) that had the paper coming up the left door and out into the middle of the machine. They were junk. I used that have to stand there and let the customers chew me out because their brand new Xerox copier was jamming all the time. I think they were made in Malaysia. Xerox is paying the price now.

The engineers and personally that developed the 59XX did a fantastic job. I find there are less issues than the previous print engine due to a shorter paper path and less components.

The machine in general is much simpler. Maybe not simple enough for you to comprehend thus your customers needing to yell at you due to 0% FTF. Also, how long did you work for Xerox and you still spell it with a "Z"?

Don't insult these people whom are layed off or still working for this garbage company. They are just trying to collect a paycheck just like you and I .
