The inside rumors indicate an 8% reduction in worldwide staff so the upcoming fall layoff will be a nosebleeder.

If you are in Santa Clara find a job now. There are plenty of jobs in the area. The benefits are the same or better. You will feel so good to have a new job when the layoff hits. If you stay and get impacted you will be tarnished in the eyes of recruiters and finding a job will take so much longer. The package won't be worth it. Lookout for your self. The company is not loyal to you.
