22% raise huh? Must be nice. My husband (who is an employee) has seen a huge drop in his commission pay although he’s been working just as hard as before. So glad Mr. Thomas received part of our income that we missed out on - in addition to the nice corporate tax cut. 🙄 We may have even moved to middle class with a 22% raise! Must be nice to be on top. They definitely aren’t worrying about their employees. Just themselves & their pocketbooks. I’ve been begging hubby to look elsewhere for jobs and I think this was the final straw.
The only thing Aurelius is going to win is an award for douchebagism. Don't even need an activist judge to make that ruling.
Windstream lawyers and Bumbling Bob Gunderman crafted a poorly written and executed agreement when they sold off assets to UNIT / CSAL and setup the triple NET leaseback agreement. They admitted the agreement's wording had failings during the trial. Windstream is hoping that the judge rules in their favor not because they did no wrong but because it will harm Windstream employees. Hopefully the judge realizes that most Windstreamers have been getting harmed by this incompetent and greedy leadership for years. Tony Thomas was given a 22% pay increase last year while most employees got a 0% pay increase is a prime example. I hope that the judge finds TT and his cronies are criminally liable and throw them in jail. This step alone would boost employee morale and help WIndstream move forward.
Finding in favor of Windstream otherwise will only further enrich these untrustworthy executives and also undermine the written rule of law that requires business contracts be clear and correct when executed.
Just spoke to windstream counsel and the game for Aurelius is finally over, it is about time someone put that jerk in his place.
He could care less how many investors he hurt it was always about his payday and he got just what he deserved, NOTHING, way to go Windstream!
The article will be out as soon as the judges completes his verdict... it was said to take a little while to get done. If they rush it - it makes it easier to appeal... The judge will try to make it bullet proof... which ever direction it is going to go. Right now - you'd be high to think aurelius is going to win.. but, no one is 100%.
