Xerox spokesman Bill McKee declined to say exactly how many workers are being let go. The company employs about 3,100 people in the Rochester/Webster area.
Some workers losing their jobs will finish Thursday while others have several weeks left. Employees will receive severance packages and outplacement counseling.
