Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Any word on severance for this round?

What does the package look like? Have there been any changes made to severance compared to last time?

I'm worried they'll try to save additional money by skimping on proper (or even any) severance. Something like that wouldn't surprise me one bit from Xerox these days.

Severance does not appear to be one week for every year worked . In fact for some non-exempt technical employees, the severence is 8 weeks paid in a lump sum. As you go higher up the rates, the amont iof weeks ncreases. Managers have been challenged in their group meetings in regard to the disparity, but their attempts to question the fairness of this at a corporate level has been a response from HR to "stay out of it"

Severance is now 8 to 12 weeks and you lose health insurance immediately
