Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Just a question

Question:

If we call GE's "bluff," do we win and get more money?

If we vote NO are we guaranteed more and work and get people back in the plant?

Haha you think so, PBS is a 3rd party suppleir in the Czech that is on STD terms with legacy GE and they are qualified to make Alstom generators. We can place an order on them today.

Union is killing Ge... right now it best to be out of union as Ge is on an anti union spat... I predict there will be no union shops within the next 2 years.

Don’t be a gutless union member! Vote No the union will loose over 50 union jobs if it passes. For a buck you would sell out the Union for the company? For a buck you would want to run around the plant doing every job? For a buck there will still be more layoffs regardless! They want 400 workers in the plant this agreement would give Company full control over the plants needs all for a buck. Never mind the fact that that the company laid off 300 plus already and more to come! Never mind the people who got bumped, and lost $2-$10 an hour in pay along with an off shift position.

The only thing that is guaranteed is we are getting shafted with this new deal. There’s no guarantee the plant closes if we say no or yes. So vote what’s best for you.
