It seems the ones we have aren’t that productive or good, going to the gym and drinking coffee at the cafe all day. Maybe iPepper will have more than great PowerPoint skills and won’t blame software for their lack of actually knowing what they are doing?
A main reason for this companies continual decline is our lack of finding anything new, fast followers we are not. Other companies walk when a play s---s or it is obvious they won’t make money in the next 10-20 years, but we sit there for years blowing money trying to ‘figure it out’ while the independent is off leasing the next play for dollars an acre. I find it funny how we always say we are an independent but when you talk to exploration they are always trying to compare themselves to Shell/XOM/Chevron. We were never them when we were an integrated for f’s sake! Something needs to change, but this is COP so it won’t...hello EOI!
