Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

What was severance like in latest round?

I've heard from several people that severance is being significantly lowered to further cut costs during layoffs, but I'm having hard time believing that.

Anybody knows what kind of package was given to people in the latest round? Was it the usual or has it been reduced?

The package gets much better every time. You get time to reflect and chart a course with a better direction and goal.

Cisco is in SEZ (special economic zone) in India, where no Indian labour laws apply. Plus there is no Union. So, whatever King gives, servant has to accept.
