Hear they are offering a voluntary now in Schenectady. Any idea on how many are accepting?

If they're seriously trying to get rid of people, they have more options. GE didn't bat an eye giving I-melt over 200 million. How about offering something to the actual workers...

Anybody that comes back it’s just buying them more time the place is going under we will all have to find something else eventually
You better have your ducks in a row and know to the penny what the minimum monthly amount is that you need to live. Usually GE nevers give you much time to think about their offer and hopes you will make a desperate knee jerk decision to leave without thinking about it. Once you take it, they wash their hands of you and you’re on your own.
A lot took it but people had til 6 pm tonight to do so.
