CDK global has lost its way, the ceo is all about his bonus at the expense of the best work force a company could have. Lots of experienced people with 30+ years let go today, lots of org beheadings too of people who knew the value of experience. This company will not be around much longer
Yes, confirming today there were 3 just in my department in Cincinnati, Oh, one of which had been with the company for 46 years. A supervisor and Director. Same time last year this happened. Heard it was something like 350 people they are letting go this round.
Was hit today myself. Brought us in a room with 5 other folks impacted. Had a full day scheduled with 5-8 people each, 30 minutes per group. So that’s a minimum 80 in Portland alone.
I was looking to leave anyway and have options in the pipeline.
What sticks with me isn’t the layoffs, they seem to do it at least once a year. It’s the complete mismanagement of the products and technology.
Anyone who believed they were safe in this company when these layoffs began a while back, is delusional! This is a sinking ship... don your life vests and swim to shore, quickly! That CEO is a hungry shark and if you look at all of the companys he has hit in his career, you will notice a very clear trend: Ghost Town, and vultures left to pick the bones.

I was terminated today in a conference call. The organizer of the call said the all phones are on mute. So scream all you want, nobody will hear you.
I was just Laid off today they told me it was a organizational decision.

Latest is something like 500 people total. The asshat CEO will likely get some nice big bonus and then be able to move on and ruin another company and people's lives.
