@1crh is me. I wasn’t attacking immigrants, Dearborn has a large Arab American community. Note I said American (of Arabic ancestry) - the largest concentration of Arabic people outside of the Middle East is in Dearborn and that’s just a fact. In their culture it’s common to “haggle” over the price of things. It’s way worse in the auto center than in the store but many of the female customers wear headscarves and many of them have attempted to “haggle”.

Not all of them but some, and they do it over and over and it slows up the line even more than it is. And if someone gives them a coupon when they do it it really encourages them for the next time.

As a retail employee it was just a hard adjustment that’s all I was saying and it seems to be unique to this store.

@1aui - Drop the attitude! The poster made no comment that indicated that they "hated" immigrants. It is only common courtesy that one respects the customs and way of life of the country they are in. Do you get equally perturbed when people from this country are dubbed Ugly Americans when they refuse to respect the culture of the country they are in?

Yeah @1crh won't have to deal with the immigrants he/she obviously hates. Cause Lincoln Park is a great neighborhood.

Actually it’s pretty good, getting tons of hours, yesterday the DM came in and grilled brats and burgers just outside the MPU for everyone.

Most of us have jobs lined up at Lincoln park store, they’re really short handed and much busier than we normally are. For me it’s a shorter commute too!

As for the customers, well it’s not regular sears customers, it’s people who are rude and have never shopped here. Place is a madhouse busy busy busy.

Closing our store made sense. Lincoln Park is just down the road, we get a lot of people now who are used to “haggling”, ugh. It’s dearborn, what more can I say?

Looking forward to starting over at Lincoln park tho!
