Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Isn't it funny . . . .

. . . .that, for all these lay offs, firings and budget cuts, both the Walmart stores in my town have 'Now Hiring!' stickers plastered on all their doors? Hmmmmm...

I have a good friend who was an assistant for many years before the MM corn hole pooned him into stepping down. I don't get why he stayed. He's been basically a castrated deli manager for the last 4 years....today he told me they swapped him over to produce which will soon be combining with meat----all for the same pay, only different (and sh!tty) hours. He just shrugged and said, 'well, that's the business. Ya gotta roll with the punches.'

I don't get it. This guy, and all like him, are the wait staff still serving the rich drunks on the Titanic.

Turnover at the stores is horrible. The way schedules get jacked around, only the most desperate are still working there, or applying there.

They are cutting all full associates and Dm heads it's all because of Insurance. Only put associates soon.

Bottom line? It doesn't matter. As long as customers keep supporting this business, these practices will continue. Walmart knows how sheeple are easily manipulated and brain washed, that's why shoppers b--ch at the high prices but STILL go there.

They want cheap labor and all the long term associates gone.
