They follow the VP like scolded dogs. As long as you agree with the boss and celebrate the many accomplishments he takes credit for then you will be a valued employee.

Our former manager accepted another position within HQ and she didn't even say goodbye to the team ! I mean, not even an email saying goodbye.
I have a boss you doesn't even speak to me, very odd?? Unless you stroke ego or play damsel in distress he wants nothing to do with you...nothing personal, I know that just a very very unprofessional relationship. But I do my job and get a paycheck. I'm good at my job and enjoy my co workers, just never knew you could be senior management and ignore your employees....LOL,
I consider it a blessing.
