Now leaders will start playing PIP games with the employees and will make them redundant . Even the leadership will do it with Managers ; however they will safeguard themselves . It's an open secret the person who is laying you off is taking a fat cheque for doing nothing and will justify his existence by firing people . Someone should file a lawsuit against them ,

This a commonpractice and as origins in Indians IT services firms. It was implemented in syntel India in 2015 to layoff 5000 emloyees in one months time.
for each employee upto level of team lead fired te delivery head get Rs25,000/- per firing, and for eac manager Rs50000/- sr mgmr Rs100000/- per person fired.
some delivery heads may 5to 10 millions INR in one month space and made merry. several folks with H1B visa approved and stamped and waiting found themselves fired as the offer from top mgmt to delivery head and delivery managers was too attractive.
However of late cognizant recognized the scandal and started firing directors and Vice presidents on massive scale to protect company from curruption. it will be better Accenture does the same too
