Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Unionize State Farm

Former SIU Section Manager 24 years' experience

Trust me-I recognize your frustrations over what you all are experiencing regarding your mistreatment at State Farm. I semi-retired recently as a result of the treatment of employees at all levels.

State Farm is not afraid of litigation, what they are afraid of is an organized employee base; the best way to organize is through a union. As a former member of management, I personally know State Farm is terrified of unions.

I am currently exploring the concept of attempting to organize an Office and Professional Workers union at State Farm to protect your interests.

State Farm is playing games with your future. They tell you not to work overtime but know full well you have to work off the books in order to fulfill the obligations of your role.

Let me help protect you; respond to this blog with your interest. Spread the word among your colleagues. If enough support exists, I will move this forward and set up a union interest campaign at an operations center.
