Every month, services are down, and the cloud reliability is an embarrassment:

Where are the blogs explaining what happened for every big downtime?

A motivation for Citrix cloud was to move customers to a subscription payment model to fix a revenue problem. Citrix found that customers were not upgrading their on-prem versions. This is because there were not any compelling features and because the upgrade process was a pain and they would find bugs and get stuck dealing with tech support or even have to do a roll back. Now Citrix engineering has to deal with the poor performance and the bugs and the customers get stuck paying on a contract.

It's the same Citrix. For the most part the company subsists on the legacy of Winframe while trying to claim the revenue is really coming from [fill in the latest buzzword here].

Successive generations of Citrix leaders either delude themselves or are just clueless about the reality. I remember the former Xendesktop leader thinking he had built a $1B business on his own, completely unaware that customers were buying Xendesktop trade-ups as a more cost effective way to use Winframe....er...Xenapp.

Some smart dude at citrix said: our software is so sh--ty that no one wants to run it. Let's run it in the cloud. Now the engineering team knows that they are in deep shyt because there are turds all over the place.

There are so many buzz words and cutesy phrases. This had to have been ghost written by a fluffy bunny in corporate marketing. Engineers don’t really write like this do they.

Citrix should avoid tech blogs. Throwing "self-healing" makes him look like an idiot.

This post is hilarious! C'mon guys give some slack to engineering.

They hardly blog and there is not much to write. I haven't seen a blog from Juan in a while -- wonder if he has anything useful for write.
