Is anyone else hearing of more layoffs before September? I have heard rumors for back office, non- selling support staff, and IT staff. Can anyone confirm?

No...we added jobs in July and August. Full time and part time. Base jobs. We have hired back over 75% of those we laid off in February. And we are not a Growth 50 door either.
More IT staff cuts? LOL. My manager was already crying when I got let go, and when I was still there we were doing two jobs: IT support plus telecom (they fired 90% of the Telecom staff and basically told us it was our problem now.) Pretty soon it’s going to be one guy ringing registers, fixing them, and probably scrubbing the toilets too.
Yet they Have money for fireworks and pay a full time staff year round for the Thanksgiving Parade. Seems like their priorities are messed up.
Hiring blitz = cheaper labor = Replacements.
