Lol, blockchain! 80% of your invoicing and claims processing is still running off of handwritten forms. You still have green screens! Blockchain is not a time machine. AIG is running off of 30yr old ideas at best. My goodness, the strategy last year was to "adopt a cloud strategy" (hello 2006)! How'd that strategy work out?
Blockchain? Haha the approval levels required to get anything moving and the endless POCs will be something else so don't hold your breath
The Blockchain is the only thing that will save AIG from itself. The quicker they implement the Blockchain, the better off AIG
There are many such self proclaimed "bosses" drawing top notch salaries that will hopefully be purged one such being CAT modeling/ERM IT
Our boss, self proclaimed head of AI, informed us he's out next week. Cannot believe he has been employed this long, total idiot that cratered multiple program. Some good is coming of the house cleaning, I assure you. Oh, and his entire MGMT team is going with him, the average IQ will increase dramatically by removing this trash from the organization.
CTO (NY) & global head of employee services (NY) - gone, pretty significant.
Yes it has. Just heard of people in GI getting it yesterday. Gaurav's Garg's organization
The reshuffling has not caused any layoffs in NY.
Same song and dance with the last 2/3 CEOs. The focus needs to be on writing better business/reserving. Reducing the workforce isn’t going to solve the bigger issue at hand. Moral at the company is at its lowest since the financial crisis.
Someone must be blamed for the flat 12 month performance and it isn't going to be the guy who just got paid 47million....
