Mattel is evil. Always has been. Evil management. Toxic culture. There is no saving it, reckoning time has come. You can bring in a new CEO every year but it can't change the fact that Mattel has long outlived it's usefulness. There is nothing worth saving. Time has run out for Mattel, it needs to take it's well-earned place on the scrap heap. Move along. Nothing to save here.

Set FP free? You're delusional if you think that Ynon or any of the C-suiters give a hoot about what's best for anything or anyone but themselves. M-Gone showed her true colors and set a dangerous precedent. Mattel is toast. I just hope I get to stay until RD is sent packing. Even if Ynon isn't a toy guy, he should be smart enough to recognize RD for the useless poser that he is and kick him to the curb.

Just sell FP Core and let it play out naturally. It’s the only honest way out of this mess. We understand, it’s a tangled web, just give people the room to actually succeed.
Plastic toys have always been landfill. Look at the in-house studies done by Mattel. More than 75% of the play value of a toy is in the first two weeks. After that it goes into the toy box, and only pulled out from time to time. Soon after it is weeded out to make room for the next age-appropriate pile.
Things like LEGO Bricks are the exception. Notice I didn't say MEGA Blocks.
I agree with the original post. The Handlers were corrupt and got caught by the government. And for what? Maybe kids played with toys 10 years ago but now it's just landfill. I'm a huge hypocrite. If it wasn't for my family that I'm supporting, I would leave this place.
