Where Will This Work Be Performed?

Performance Aircraft Services Inc., Grapevine, Texas, is awarded a $57,076,912 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the removal and replacement of sealant on fuel cells and aircraft surfaces, as well as on the internal surface of wing fuel tanks for up to 16 E-6B aircraft. In addition, this contract provides for the application of upgraded fuel cell sealant to achieve weight savings. Work will be performed in Waco, Texas (75 percent); and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (25 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2023. No funds are being obligated at time of award; funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-18-D-0118).

Comeon, guys, it's an indefinite delivery contract! That means ONLY if they decide to do it! It aint a committment for to actually do the work, it is more like a promise to do send it here IF they decide to do it. We may never see aircraft no. 1 out of this.

So for the sake of argument, 75% of 57M is 42.75M. If you have 900 employees left in Waco, your average employee earns $20 an hour, and you burn through 36,000 hours in a week, that equals 720,000 a week in wages alone, not to mention overhead and profit margin, you burn through the entire 42.75M award in less than 60 weeks.
