You dont need an OPS manager when they don't do anything by collect an check
OPs at HE being eliminated. In store layoffs coming in July
We lost ours in January to save cost. The load was thrown to the SM (but being so useless nothing was getting done) now it was thrown to the new hires (supervisors with little pay). I am surprise if anyone still has an operations still hanging in their store.
It's on a store by store basis. A couple of stores in our Sears district have Operation Managers but the rest don't anymore.
@ltq thank you for clarifying that
The "store ops" you saw mention of is only talking about a headquarters department. No in-store positions were affected yesterday, only Hoffman Estates.
@gnx so it’s the old OPS positions not the renamed store support positions of management changes that happened back on 2/11/18 mandatory meeting?
So hard to keep up with these new rebranded positions
can't be many left my old store lost theirs a few months ago
