The rumor is that the SC campus will be completely closed and excess employees will recieve a layoff . Any that remain will have to work 100% remote.
This means a big layoff coming to Santa Clara due to campus closure.

The remodel and move has been cancelled. They don’t want to spend money. The new tenants will do what they like with the property.
Elliott Management only cares about VDI and the marketing Floridiots don’t understand networking. It’s all over for NetScaler. They already killed the name and it’s not long until the product and the Santa Clara office are gone.
Citrix is distancing itself from the failed xen fiasco by rebranding. Xensvr = market share embarrassment.
XenServer is also being wound down.
Netscaler team is dead. Most folks are nutanix. Marco is at Vmware now.
Santa Clara is an expensive cost center now with a product in sustenance mode.
When was the last time you heard a startup is using netscaler?
The new Citrix strategy is to move networking development to China where they just hired a load of interns for cheap. Then they save money by closing leased buildings and make some money renting out the owned buildings. If you are a bean counter it all makes sense. Intangibles like product quality and customer satisfaction are not part of the equation.
The Citrix Campus in Santa Clara has been a disaster since the third building was finished and never occupied. The word on the street is that if a tenant can be found for all 3 buildings, the entire campus will be shut down.
we are closing one building which was leased. the other one will remain. expect more similar actions with leased properties.
Heard there will be an announcement on the 16'th about the future of the Santa Clara campus. Most probably they will announce the shutdown of the campus and have everyone work remotely.
