Lol this always cracks me up, Waco and GVL will become one sector seperate only by non exempt employees in GVL being union.
I dont care if GVL hates Waco or vice versa it does not matter it will occur at the end of July maybe August depending on the test run regardless of how you feel.
Everyone speaks that waco has no work, true its slow but it will be changing very fast, it has not been announced yet but will in the coming weeks that both Waco and GVL will be getting hefty amounts of work and its being discussed now on when the new job listings will be released starting with engineering and in the end production.
I cant mention the contracts on here because somebody will screw it up and we will risk the NDAs that the company has signed.
There is a plan to divide the work between the two sites that will give new work to GVL and Waco increasing Wacos employment about 30 percent within the year 60 percent by the end of 2019.
All of these trash rumors are hilarious and are only ramblings of personel that are too low on the food chain to have the need to know.
Yes its quiet its meant to be because it will impact everyone and upper mgmt knows people have a hard time with change. Not to mention private business matters end up on rumor blogs like this that affect the shareholders at the corporate level.
Yes i agree that there is too many mgrs and that is changing mostly at the pay rank level unfortunately as id like to see certain individuals leave that shall not be named.
If you cant handle change either leave or deal with it, for those that can handle change and are loyal there is business coming just hold on.
If you are looking busy be busy, we are holding workers to maintain the work load to not have to deal with another hiring freeze if there has to be a layoff. With whats coming we cant afford to lose anymore and hire enough in time for the new work start.
Some will use the idiotic line that this is fake news but go to your finance managers and ask about the GVL Waco integration next month they only know a small portion of the plan but will confirm that its coming with not much knowledge past that.
