There is no way they will come up with two billion dollars or find a way to extend the debt. They took away decent health insurance, they took away decent pay increases that keep up with cost of living increases, they expect long hours, blind loyalty with nothing in return and no job security while they plan their next vacation homes off your blood and sweat. They s--- and aren’t worth your loyalty. Get out on your own terms and find a fulfilling job before they make the choice for you.

Quit knocking TT, he’s doing the best with what he inherited.
He’s also the smartest guy in the room.
I guess the cat is out of the bag on this one. There was a stream post today about confidential information. I wonder if was in regards to this post and others?
Good for TT and wall street, bad for all of the former elink employees that will lose their jobs.
Thanks for info
Yes they are selling Earthlink CSMB they have talked about it on calls. It has been a deal in the works for quite a while. If you support ELINK CSMB your job is going to be gone.
News Flash: Company is already done for. They treat their employees horribly. What goes around comes around.
They are sell CLEC csmb which comes from EarthLink for sure. If they sell ILEC CSMB this company is done for.
He said CSMB Business.
We’re selling CSMB? So what all goes along with that? What departments will go?
They will refinance those senior notes next year. Problem is our credit rating keep going down. The closing cost and rate will be sky high. As others have said we are just kicking the can down the road. Tony doesn't have an end game to come up with $2B. His plan is to sell off assets (and debt) to lower the total value and debt to look better on paper. This will position us for the next sale.
Like he has said before there is no value to the TDM network. No one wants POTS services or xDSL. The new model is UCaaS, SD WAN, no transport (unless it's ethernet), move customers to a combination of Cable and 4G.
There is no long term value to owning a phone company and wall street knows it. In the next few weeks we will make a major announcement about the sale of the CSMB business along with that are the jobs that used to support it. Some of those positions transfer to the new entity but most will be lost. This is step one in the new Windstream.
Grab a set folks the second half of the year is going to be a wild ride.
