Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

It’s happening again, today is the day.

Layoffs will begin early this am, not sure how many are impacted.

Stream is a site for all the positive things going on at WS. There is no site for all the negative things that happen but it wouldn’t stay up. The server would crash! According to Stream everything is good and we are making money but if you are on the bottom of the level you actually see with your own eyes that we as a company S---! Customers are pissed off at us. Bring up WS on social media and everyone flocks to tell their terrible experiences too. It’s a damn joke, yeah!

Now the important question, did Sales get their annual company paid vacation in a foreign country?

Outsourcing will fail once again...after Windstream spends big bucks to the less knowledgeable and inexperienced...And then spend more big dollars to perhaps and try and train these people (as they have done in the past)...and finally they will come to their senses and bring those jobs back...the bottom line here will Windstream survive this turmoil they created? Will their be a Windstream? This place is a total disaster!

the stream site is filled with big talkers & salesmen telling everyone how great things are going and spend all day hitting the like button. kudos to the few guys & girls on there that actually tell it like it is , assuming you don’t get suspended off of there

Wish I had been wrong, but is what it is. Good luck to those affected this round, and to those who will be affected next round... Everyone that remains needs to be prepared, regardless of what a superstar you may be.

Service Desk (Help desk) was told this morning their jobs are no more as of Oct 1. IBM off-shore is taking over those spots. TWN Command Center is also closing. Get out if you can.

Think the VPs will be out in the field helping customers since the entire work force is gone and the ones left can’t wait to leave. Tony Thomas and VPs are just small little men. Velvet hands and no substance. All companies acquired built on hard work and they can dismantle in a matter of months. Course all presidents and supervisors kiss up and like everything posted cause they know if they were cut, they would be in real trouble with their lack of work ethic. Good luck directors.....hope you like flipping burgers and kissing up on the pimple faced kid that is your boss. Telling people what to do is all you are good at.....hahaha losers!

These cuts and yet management remains without restructureing... soon it will be a hand full of people and a bunch of vice presidents. It's a pitaful situation, but one totally self inflected.

Heard from very reliable source a round is happening. Check your appointments in Outlook folks. To the folks getting hit, this is not the end but the beginning of something new, good luck God bless my friends.
