This is certainly interesting. Intel CEO has been ousted for having a relationship with a coworker. Somehow I doubt that was the real reason he was shown the door, but it served its purpose.
The only thing I'm worried about is that Intel might get somebody who knows what they are doing to replace him. That could spell trouble for us, with our useless management.
quick to action.... intel can take action on any rumor... is intel sure that CEO had consensual relation ? Intel is still not sure, but fired him anyway... thinking without acting is one of intel's quality.

Well, intel did cede the manufacturing lead to tsmc. Intel cant wvwn do 10nm while tsmc is at 7nm.
Hopefully intc gets someone competent and then intc buys qcom.

OP...Why do you think that is not the real reason? Intel stock has been doing really well so it can’t be that. In most ethical companies intra office romances would get you fired especially with a subordinate which in case of a CEO means everyone. Just because it is normal at a s*le like QC does not make it normal everywhere.
