I have been there. I have been a part of a RIF at a company that I had been with for many years, 15 to be exact, and hoped to stay until retirement. It was not fun having to find a new job, but I never wished failure to my friends that were still there. Just because I am not on the bandwagon of bitterness and hatred is not a slap in the face to anyone. I might be out of a job next week, who knows? If it happens it happens. I will have to move on. But it is my decision to stay for now. If I were not willing to take that risk, I would be gone already. In the meantime, I plan to do the best job I can do. I am not busy looking busy, I am really busy.

To the person who has a hard time understanding. those workers who were let go earlier this year. had the same dreams and aspiration to retire. as to your smug comment that you understand ........ is a slap in our face. You will never know this until you experience it yourself. That's why we say what we say again we must clear the forest to start new one

I have hope that Waco will live at least until I am ready to retire. I can understand Waco employees leaving for better, more stable opportunity. What I do not understand is the complainers. If you can find a better job, go for it. You are free to go. If you cant, if L3 is the best you can do, what are you complaining about? I can also understand bitterness from those that have been let go and would like to see some or all of management fail. What I do not understand why you do you wish the demise of some good people, good workers that are trying to make a go of it. And I surely do not understand the trolls, the Greenville trolls on here. You should want every aspect, every division of L3 to succeed; it is in your best interest.
