Anyone noticing major issues due to lower staffing levels - I work in Express claims for 14 states and I know that some groups lost many people. The amount of work is the same. How can this be sustained without causing issues on the business side. I'd be curious to hear if you are seeing this issue in other groups - we cut so much and the work is piling up. This is not sustainable.

They worked hard burning and/or forcing a lot of employees out to get to their low level of staffing. It's deliberate and "do more with less" is the new norm. So get used to working until you're physically half dead and 100% dead inside if you decide to keep working here with this autocratic operating model.
Yes we have noticed it piling up as well. I am in the PIP/MPC. As people leave to go to other departments or leave the company, they are not being replaced. Our inventory is increasing and the latest is our seasoned employees are expected to handle their inventory M-W and assist those who are further out of goal on Thursday and Friday. No overtime either.
This is so true, makes big problems
One person goes on PTO and territory quadruples
In proximity it is about to go from bad to worse. One person goes on PTO and territory quadruples. And we still have wccs handling this claims. It will be worse when wccs leaves
You’ve seen nothing yet. Leadership’s lack of vision and failure to adjust consultant fed models that are not working is baffling.
The leaders who understood how to run this company are gone. Nothing left but yes people.
Same/similar in my niche of Systems/ET. And it gets worse by the day. I would actually encourage everyone to speak their minds. If/when the "leadership" realizes that they have a critical mass on the verge of mutiny, then maybe they will start listening. We don't even need a majority to speak their minds, just more and more until it's enough.
Good luck to all.
@czu, I get what you are saying. In a small metro it can be tough finding a decent paying gig.
A person from an attorney office mentioned they were on hold for 45 minutes and didn't get to the right department. She said I thought I was dealing with other insurance companies, not State Farm. I felt like saying they are all the same trying achieve the race to the bottom.
And that’s why there is more and more security officers packing heat roaming the hallways.
Even if they decide to hire more people, who's going to want to apply after seeing this site, glassdoor, indeed, etc.?
The frustration at work is so intense you can see, hear, and feel it everywhere in the air, I'm not even joking. TMs have a very frantic and worried look lately, and the employees are just trying to get through the day navigating through the unlimited nonsense. I've never seem my co-workers so naked with their words and their ways about how things are going at work. It's actually unbelievable that things got here.
@mwm on "find better pasture" - it's not easy where I live. I wish I was located in a large metro area, everything would have been much easier. Oh, well.
No it is not sustainable is a nice way to put it, impossible is more like it. It will hit the fan, take care of your own financial kingdom, and find better pasture.
