SLB is on the path to be bought out by google and run by artificial intelligence.
I don’t know. One would think Paal would be loyal to his executors... but he’s not loyal. The incumbent managers are cheaper. They will stay.
They will all filter back into the Org and take management positions from the people who have really been keeping this sh-- show afloat for the past 3 years.
What have you heard? Timing? Size? Makes sense. I know people there. It’s a mix of high-salary performers that the business didn’t want to pay for anymore, and IT professionals. My guess, they all get the boot. Won’t need the IT people, and the business people are already replaced by cheaper options.
